Art Print Progress & Coupon Codes details clarified

Hello Everyone! Another quick progress update on the current artwork for the prints while also clarifying some confusion for your coupon codes.   

Art Print Progress: 

 3/4 prints are fully lined and shaded and prepped for the coloring stages! I should be getting done with Kaeya very soon before moving onto the coloring stage with Eula, and so on.   

 I decided to focused on the lineart and shading stages on most designs that need to be finished in hopes to complete them faster for you guys. These two stages are more busywork my coloring style is what really takes the most time.  Since Xingqui and Chongyun sketch was already done, they’ve been prepped  for coloring stages as well. Last would be Diluc that doesn’t have much  progress made yet. but He’ll become a priority after the other prints are fully rendered.

My higher fidelity art consists of advanced shading so the stage is very  crucial in making the coloring process a little bit easier in terms of  cohesion and blending of the colors.

Coupon Codes

I do apologize on my last update I was not aware about the mobile version of Kickstarter and there lack of notifications & visibility  with the comments. With being unable to edit the last update I’ve missed  mentioning that the coupon is tied to the print(s) that was pledged as  the default option when your are ordering through the shop in the  future. And if there was any thoughts on wishing to change the designs  or if you wanted receive the equal credit off other items that you are welcomed to contact me directly to so that I can change the settings of  your existing code.

This was a technical issue that arose when I was creating and testing  the codes due to how Shopify works. It didn’t allow me to make multiple  and specific commands with the codes. Therefore I couldn’t apply in the  settings to allow the coupon to go towards prints or an optional item  because of pricing differences in my ship.   

The genshin prints in my shop are $8, but in the Kickstarter I discounted to be priced at $5.. so in retrospect the coupon code  wouldn’t match the price to receive 100% off if done by the equaled  credit. So instead the coupon codes were made to fully cover a free  print design and can be quickly changed to accommodate the customer for  the other option.  

I figured this was the best approach as orders can be very  individualized…for example one backer may have the 3 print coupon but may want 1 print and credit for the rest of the order or the other way around.

I do apologize for any confusion that may have arose and I hope this  clarifies the coupons better. Please reach out directly if you continue  to have other concerns, questions, or need more clarification! For the current timeline I've had a doctor appointments for clearances for surgery that slowed my estimated timeline but I’ll be doing another progress update very soon by the end of next week with the finished Kaeya design and additional progress!

96% Rewards Completion! Coupon Backer Packages are Shipped!

I am happy to announce we have completed shipping for all the coupon backers and have finished with 420+ backers all together. The project is now 96% finished!  

I want to thank everyone for your patience and acceptance again for this recent batch of orders being sent their main rewards first. Coupons for all backers were individually coded, printed, and packed which has been a lot of hard work and dedication to finish all packages in a quick,  short period of time.   

 All coupon backers should have already received tracking through their emails. Please message me if you haven’t received it yet. Due to how the  addresses were exported, some of the waitlist backers may have also received a tracking number email but just a kind reminder those haven’t  been shipped yet.

Upon receiving your coupon, hold onto them as my shop (yangoshop.co)  will reopen later on after I’ve completed all waitlist backer orders. I  will now be prioritizing on finishing the rest of the print designs once I am back from an event this month: August 9-15th.  The coupon has a 1 time use only code for the amount of prints that are missing from your rewards. The prints will be 100% free with the option of non-track letter shipping for free shipping in the US. I cannot offer letter shipping options to orders with items that are not flat! ie: charms, pins, buttons, and apparel. Please keep this in mind  when ordering them in the future!  My list just has 20 backers on the waitlist. Thank you so much for your  guys’ communication and support during this long process!  We are almost finished with the campaign — the current timeline is I should have Kaeya & Eula prints completed by the end of August/early September!

Hello everyone! Final Call on the Freebie Print Coupon Backers! We wanted to give backers time for responses from my last update for those that want their main rewards sent out with the freebie print coupons & those that wish to be waitlisted. From the 95 Backers left 18 Backers has responded in being put on the waitlist so we are doing a Final Call so we can move along the rest of the 77 orders and everyone has their order shipped out!   

After those orders are sent out we will then proceed to finishing the rest of the freebie prints designs of Kaeya, Eula, Diluc, and Xingqiu & Chongyun.  I've recently received a lot of concerns over the past couple days when I  voiced about opening other projects or reopening my online shop that  has currently been closed since the last few months. I want to thank you guys for expressing yourself to me and I have taken in your structural  criticism. The shop will not be reopening nor will I start any new projects until I'm 100% completed with KS rewards, prints, and  waitlisted backers.  

In the past people have expressed excitement towards new designs and I see this is a misunderstanding on my part. Not everyone was on the same page with this idea, especially for those that'll be last in receiving their KS rewards. I see now that could come off as unfair and not  prioritizing those who have currently supported me. That was never my intention.

I have through the months completed sets of prints at a time. Compiling  sketches, then the base, before completing with details that take me  more then a week to accomplish for my standards I wish to provide you.  Then on top of completing a print, it's another couple weeks to go  through orders I am able to fulfill, package nicely, then ship out. My  larger orders of course taking majority of that time. 

I've always strive to remain 100% transparent with you guys and I'm  always open to listening to your concerns about the progress or  completion of rewards. For those that have reached out to me directly,  I've always been responsive in helping switch items, prints, or if a  replacement was needed a package was resent in a timely manner. It  wasn't until this weekend while I was at a convention that so many  suddenly had very large concerns I was unaware of.

None have initially expressed concerns with me directly on doing  conventions or having my store open that has been closed since May however I completely understand while 346 orders have been  fulfilled at this time, there is still a batch left that has been waiting very patiently on their rewards and I'll will be working hard to get those sent out immediately this month. From the last initial batched of orders would take 8-10 hours a day for 2-3 weeks that had the Xiao, Raiden, Ganyu prints so expect this to be the estimated amount of time as we fulfill the coupon backers.    

I express my deepest apologies on print completions again. I know I put on a lot more for myself in the freebies but I’m getting there and  prioritized the most requested designs to be completed first from the stats Backerkit has given. I have finished Kokomi, Scaramouche, Itto,  Cyno, Kazuha, Xiao, Ganyu, and Raiden Shogun. My next priority for  characters will be Keaya, Eula, Diluc, and Xingqiu & Chongyun after sending out those that wish to receive their main rewards first. If the freebies prints were not included in the project all the rewards would have been sent out months ago and it is my mistake in overestimating how quickly I can complete them and I greatly apologize for the delay in people remaining rewards.  All the remaining prints will have the option for free shipping with the coupons.

Current Batch Progress Update

Hi everyone! I haven't been feeling super well I wanted to update after I finish with the current batch but giving a quick progress update that we are packing rewards that consist of all the available prints with newest additions being Xiao, Baal, Ganyu. They have been fully completed and the designs have also been prepped for tee production!   This current batch is about 60 out of the 158 orders left. These are also Very Large Orders compared from the last batch were looking at orders that consist $75-$300+ worth of pins. So each single large order is like doing 3-5 normal sized orders. So it's been taking longer to fulfill.

The last remaining prints that need to be worked on is Keaya. Diluc, Eula, and Xingqiu Chongyun and things have been busy in terms of keeping up with supply & demand of my other products as well as events that make completing the rest of the prints difficult to do quickly. While we have been making lots of progress I hate to make the rest of backers that just want their main reward wait longer then they have to and considering these are just freebies I am providing this option to send out most of the remaining rewards.

After June any Backers that just want their main pin rewards will be given a personalized Freebie Print Coupon(s) of the missing design(s). This can be used to get prints or merch from my Online Shop with a free credit.  

 Coupon Backers: *Backers that have NOT contacted me directly thru DMs or Email of wanting to hold their rewards for their freebie prints will be automatically assumed to want their main rewards and be placed in this batch.* 

 Waitlist Backers: *BACKERS that wish to be patient for their prints on their rewards please contact me so that you can be put on the waitlist.*  

*There also still a chance to swap or change your print selection as well.*

Here's the list of prints again. It would take me a couple more months to finished the remaining last designs. 

Why this option? While there is some backers that have been very kind and patient which I super appreciate!  There is just large percentage that don't keep up with the Updates or my socials and as a business it can be very stressful having to individually reexplain why their order hasn't shipped yet and then it leads to longer fulfillment time. Coupon Backers can still receive their print rewards with their credit when the new designs become available. From my previous conversations with backers I have given plenty of time to offer print selection changes and the remainder of the rewards are my very large backers so I wish to provide them their rewards as soon as I can.  This will help complete this Kickstarter sooner and get to designing more genshin pins!

Hello Everyone! I hope you guys are doing well! Sorry for delay in this update wanted to finish up with all the current packages and plan out properly what will be in the next batch of orders! 

 Quick Update Summary! 

We Shipped Out 65% rewards to Backers! In total from Backerkit we have sent out 288 orders out of 437 orders! 

 To backers that haven't received their rewards yet. Please Read Below!

All the orders that have been shipped are all done thru excel spreadsheets with the specific items that were ready for shipment. The 35% of orders that haven't been shipped out yet currently have unfinished prints that I need to finish coloring for in order to fulfill them. I explained in the previous update on Kickstarter the prints Ganyu, Keaya, Diluc, Xiao, Baal, Eula and Chongyun & Xingqiu were in progress and I gave backers the option to switch or change the prints to the completed ones if they wanted their orders shipped sooner.

In this New Batch of Rewards I will be finishing up Ganyu, Xiao, & Baal so the orders that consist of all the available items will be sent next! (Which from my data looks to be be 50/149 orders fit the requirements) 

So Please Message Me Directly on Kickstarter if you would like to change your selection or check what freebies you have selected! If not your order could be in a later batch!

Extra Progress Info

It has been a packed few weeks! We just finished with around 400+ orders that were separated between Backerkit  Preorders, Yangoshop Orders, and the Pledges that had all the items besides the 7 prints I previously listed.
   The Kickstarter Process started out a bit complicated while Backerkit is organized, Backerkit shipping rates & fees were honestly was far more expensive then buying labels on Shopify BUT I couldn't easily transfer addresses & info in bulk to shopify. Thankfully we were able to compile bulks of orders, items skus and addresses thru multiple Excel Spreadsheets and import thru Easyship! Afterwards its just been fulltime hours of grading and packing the pins and stickers. My family has helped a bit so I can get some art done but they are still learning the characters so it has mostly been just myself preparing all the orders. But I'm very happy so many of you guys have your rewards and gonna to try my hardest to get the rest of the designs done so we can finish this project!
